About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced People and Admin Generalist to join our expanding team in the UAE. This role will be responsible for handling various HR and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company policies and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with government processes, medical insurance coordination, housing arrangements, and travel logistics for employees.

What You'll Do

1. HR Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and preparing onboarding materials.
  • Maintain employee records.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of People guidelines.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related issues.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and organize company events.

2. Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of office policies.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and repairs, ensuring a safe and comfortable work environment.
  • Assist with office layout planning and office moves.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to travel arrangements and accommodations for employees.
  • Manage office budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting.

3. Government and Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Handle all government-related tasks, including applying for work permits and visas for employees.
  • Coordinate with government authorities to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.

4. People:

  • Coordinate medical insurance for employees, including liaising with insurance providers and handling claims.
  • Manage housing arrangements for employees, including finding suitable accommodations and handling lease agreements.
  • Organize travel logistics for employees, including booking flights and arranging transportation for those traveling to Dubai office and site.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR and administrative roles.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and UAE labor laws.
  • Experience in handling government-related tasks such as applying for work permits and visas.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
