Engineering Manager Position

SUMMARY:

Aeroseal is looking for an Engineering Manager that will assist us in our mission by overseeing and building an engineering team that manages the development, design, and implementation of duct sealing machines using high-pressure pump systems for atomization. This role requires a strong technical background in small high-pressure pumps, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management, with a focus on high-pressure pumps.

• Proven experience in the design, development, and testing of small high-pressure pump systems.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to high-pressure pump design and analysis.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to high-pressure pumps.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.

• Oversee the design, development, and testing of duct sealing machines using fans, controls and high-pressure pump systems.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing to drive product development.

• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for team members' professional growth.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to high-pressure pumps.

• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and safety within the engineering team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials used in high-pressure pumps.

• Understanding of quality control and assurance practices.

The estimated pay range for this role is $100,000-$150,000. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s experience, skills, knowledge, and job location. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses or benefits.
