Position Summary

Antora is seeking a Head of People Operations to build a world class people operations team and infrastructure that delivers competitive benefits, compensation, and policies that create a positive and productive work environment for Antora’s employees as we grow from 100 employees to 300 and beyond. Reporting to the cofounder and COO, this role will take on leadership of a growing team of HR professionals and work to create systems that enable Antorans to do the best work of their lives as we ramp up manufacturing to bring our first product to market.

In this role you will partner closely with Antora’s senior leadership team to define and implement a people operations strategy to support our ambitious goals and nourish our people positive culture. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Evolve and iterate our people processes, policies, and workflows to foster high performance and employee engagement through a period of rapid growth, including manufacturing bring-up and scaling to 300+ employees across multiple Antora locations.
  • Develop and implement process “playbooks” that clearly define roles and responsibilities and enable effective execution, including training content and guidelines for managers and employees.
  • Manage the implementation, integration and administration of our people technology stack to unlock data analytics, visualizations, and storytelling that inform business decisions.
  • Oversee the implementation of comprehensive compensation and benefits programs for Antora including executive pay, equity plans, and performance bonuses.
  • Establish a user experience feedback loop for the People Team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Heads of Talent, Leadership Development & Culture, and Total Rewards to align and execute a people strategy that supports Antora’s goals and key results.
  • Partner with cross-functional operations teams like Environmental Health, Safety & Security, IT, Legal, Finance, and Manufacturing to enable efficient organizational scale.

Key Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience as an HR leader with a minimum of 5 years in hard-goods product engineering and manufacturing environments.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-growth companies scaling from 100 to 1000+ employees, with a track record of building effective HR operations that deliver an excellent user-experience.
  • Experience leading HR for at least one manufacturing bring-up, setting up people practices for an hourly workforce including labor relations and partnering with Manufacturing and Safety teams.
  • Experience leading the implementation, integration, and administration of HR technologies that demonstrated ROI and quantified business impact.
  • Exceptional ability to design, implement, and iterate HR systems, processes and procedures that meet the evolving needs of a rapidly scaling business and its people.
  • Proven track record of strategic execution in HR operations - achieving measurable business impact, aligning work and resource prioritization to business objectives, and anticipating future needs.
  • Excellent communication and influencing ability with all levels of the organization - skilled listener and empathetic communicator who navigates hard conversations with grace and clarity.
  • Experienced manager and coach with a track record of developing employees skills and supporting their wellbeing while holding a high standard of performance.
  • Strong working knowledge of best-practices for compensation, benefits, and career architecture deployment.

Work Location: Onsite - San Jose, CA

Salary Range: $220,000 USD - $260,000 USD

Salary Basis: Annual

This job posting contains the salary range that Antora Energy believes it would be willing to pay for the posted job. The actual salary offered will be determined within the posted range based on a candidate's experience, credentials, and expertise as they pertain to the requirements of the position.
