We are looking for a Facility Director with deep experience in developing amazing and inclusive workspaces as well as operating and managing such facilities with the highest standard of safety and compliance. This person will provide a step change in all aspects of the jobs.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for managing and leading projects at our Oakland HQ in order to create a wonderful experience for our employees and visitors alike. This includes capital and operational projects related to our laboratory, office, and warehouse amenities. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, organization, compliance, and security of the above.
- Act as the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) leader, managing our different programs such trainings, SOPs, JHAs, and compliance. You’ll promote and develop a culture of safety and compliance in the workplace.
- Partner with our accounting/procurement department to develop and upgrade our systems regarding laboratory, office, and warehouse procurements and inventory.
- Responsible for the budget, execution, management, and reporting of Brimstone HQ P&L.
- Partner with the people team to provide the best experience to our team of "rockstars".
- **Expectation is at least 4 days a week on-site at our main Oakland facility**
What you bring:
- Proven track record of managing laboratory and warehouse facilities to the highest standards.
- EH&S training and 5+ years of EH&S experience with laboratory and manufacturing operations.
- Experience with P&L responsibility and track record of executing projects on time and on budget.
- Deep experience with cross functional team collaborations.

Salary range for this role is $190,000 to $230,000/year
