Purpose-driven Position

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Director, NA the Commercial Director's focus will be on driving customer success and maximizing account growth opportunities. This role entails nurturing relationships with existing clients while also actively seeking out and closing new sales opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion by understanding their evolving needs and delivering tailored solutions. You will be eager to learn the technology, market, and customer behavior knowledge and leverage that into a position for growth.

Finding and driving deals is fun and key to success, however the big picture is more important. As a CarbonCure team member you are joining the fight against climate change and representing a patented & commercially successful clean tech solution that is proven to reduce greenhouse gas emissions within the concrete industry. What you'll need to succeed

  • 10 - 15 years in sales, account management, or customer success roles, preferably in the concrete and/or construction sector
  • Business acumen and communication style enabling you to interact easily with customers and senior leaders.
  • Proven track record of methodically building up a business and hitting targets.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of exceeding goals and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior staff members, providing guidance and support in account management and customer success practices.
  • Adaptability, at ease with continuous change that is the hallmark of a technology company.
  • Comfortable working with a small team and helping it grow.
  • A well-developed sense of humour.

What you'll be doing

  • Assume ownership of the complete sales cycle, starting from discovery to customer implementation.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing customers, serving as their dedicated point of contact and strategic advisor.
  • Leverage your existing network and cultivate enduring, value-centric relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
  • Willing to lead and collaborate with teammates to build and demonstrate proof of concepts.
  • Interpret data to identify customer pain points and enlighten them on the value proposition offered to alleviate those pains.
  • Utilize expertise in the field and business insight to comprehensively grasp customer requirements and address challenges with ingenuity and financial prudence.
  • Take the lead in initiating, negotiating, and finalizing new contracts and amending existing contracts in line with CCT legal compliance.
  • Conduct customer quarterly business reviews to pinpoint growth opportunities.
  • Educate the specifying community on the capabilities of CarbonCure Technologies.
  • Provide transparency into escalated accounts with clear ownership and timelines through
  • Use of CRM software (Salesforce.com) to track ongoing customer progress and communicate roadblocks and gaps with specialist teams.
  • Attend regional and national trade shows as necessary.
  • Assists with all marketing related inquiries (customer announcements, sales training, marketing collateral, events, etc)
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.
