Purpose Driven Position

We are looking for a passionate, creative Credit Project Coordinator to shape this important work and grow with CarbonCure. Reporting to the Carbon Verification Manager this role will work with various teams across the organization to ensure that third-party verification for credits occurs in a timely manner.

This is a critical role and that appeals to you, however the big picture is just as important. What you'll need to succeed

  • A passion for sustainability and addressing the climate crisis
  • Bachelor’s level degree or higher
  • Minimum 2 years of directly related experience in an operations or equivalent position
  • Proficient at deriving insights from data, thinking from first principles, and building scalable solutions based on your findings
  • You have a demonstrated ability to approach ambiguous problems with a structures mindset and bias for action
  • Successful track record of influencing cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in demonstrating the value of software products to garner both internal buy in and external user engagement
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Ability to craft a vision (short to long term) and convert that into a concrete strategy
  • Proficient with Jira (or a similar task management software)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with both peers and management / leadership
  • Ability to work with big datasets to unlock value for our users
  • Experience with the concrete and/or the construction industry is an asset

    What you'll be doing

    • Manage execution of end-to-end process for third-party verification of carbon credits including engaging with applicable internal and external stakeholders for process development, data collection, and ongoing support.
    • Ensure carbon credit verification operations remain relevant and up-to-date: manage feedback loops to internal teams regarding process and requirement changes. Remain up-to-date with methodology changes that could impact the quality and value of our credits.
    • Collaborate with CX, product, and customer facing teams to design, implement, and maintain standardized, scalable business systems and processes for inventory management. Identify gaps in our current data collection processes and develop scalable solutions to improve time to first credit revenue for our growing customer base.
    • Serve as the main point of contact with various cross-functional teams and own development of collateral and maintaining scalable processes to ensure our validation and verification processes are operating in lockstep with broader company goals and objectives.
    • Document and update end-to-end third-party verification processes to ensure replicability and knowledge sharing across the entire organization.
    • Evaluate contract proposals from third-party auditors and verifiers and contribute to managing the ongoing relationship with them. Continuously look for opportunities to diversify our credit offering.
    • Bridge the gap between supply and demand of our carbon credits. Ensure our customers are kept up to date on the evolving credit landscape so that expectations are properly managed.
    • Support our internal Sales team to ensure they have relevant talking points with current and prospective customers to effectively leverage our credit program and set proper expectations.
    • Be a liaison between Credit Products functions and Engineering. Stay up to date on credit sales strategies and ensure alignment between teams.
    • Design and implement standardized, scalable business systems and processes allowing the credit business to operate efficiently and independently within CarbonCure
    • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to ensure credit business is operating in lockstep with the broader company goals and objectives

    • Hours are flexible, but a minimum of eight (8) hours per day Monday to Friday is required, with the possibility of additional time based on project and customer demand
