Purpose Driven Position

CarbonCure is on a mission to revolutionize the concrete industry by enabling the adoption of CO2 utilization technologies. We are seeking a combined role of Technical Program Manager (TPM) and Technical Services Specialist to lead the transformation of our customer base, drive customer success, and accelerate their path to profitability. Reporting to the Head of Product - Engineering and Global Director of Technical Services, this role will be involved throughout the entire lifecycle of our customer’s journey, from onboarding to contract renewal.

This role is both data-driven and customer-centric, focusing on extracting and managing customer data to identify actionable insights. These insights will help customers decarbonize their concrete products and their ongoing success with CarbonCure. Current initiatives include confirming cement reductions with new and existing customers, new customer onboarding via our web portal myCarbonCure, completing third-party verification of carbon credits, ongoing profitability analysis, and providing technical support throughout the customer journey.

The ideal candidate will be based in Malaysia/Singapore, Japan, or South Korea.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Passion for sustainability and addressing climate change
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or business discipline (e.g., engineering, project management, business administration, construction management) with a strong technical background
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a customer-facing, project management, customer success, or similar technical role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate directly with customers and internal teams
  • Experience in the quality control aspects of the concrete/construction industry; software industry experience is an asset
  • Ability to analyze and action data to influence customer profitability and retention
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while delegating and holding cross-functional teams accountable
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to present analysis clearly and concisely
  • Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Customer-obsessed with a focus on reducing customer churn
  • Skilled in demonstrating the value of software products to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with task management tools and systems for transparency (e.g., Atlassian, Asana) is an asset
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer support, service, and relationship development
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude to understand, develop, and present technical solutions to end users
  • Valid driver’s license is a valuable asset
  • Experience with software tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, project management platforms)
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a strong asset
  • Valid passport and legal ability to travel internationally within Asia Pacific and Canada
  • Proficient in English, other languages such as Japanese, Malay or Korean are an asset

What you'll be doing

  • Own the process of taking customers from a signed contract to profitability and renewal
  • Work closely with the Sales and Account Managers within your region to provide excellent customer service to your customers ensuring their continued success through our value stream
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to accelerate customer profitability and ensure an efficient customer experience
  • Build strong relationships with customer quality control and tech services teams to gain confidence in the technology
  • Conduct standardized field testing for concrete at various ready-mix concrete plant sites
  • Perform concrete-specific data analysis, visualization, and management
  • Provide top-notch support to Quality Control and Technical Services staff and advise on product integration
  • Oversee and manage new customer onboarding through the myCarbonCure web portal, aiming to reduce time to first value
  • Provide data visibility to internal teams to develop tactical plans for improving customer profitability
  • Guide customers through the credit program and third-party verification processes, ensuring they understand requirements and timelines
  • Monitor and track customer profitability, reporting key metrics and insights to leadership
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience team and Product Managers to ensure the customer’s voice is maintained throughout product development
  • Develop and maintain a continuous feedback loop from customers
  • Collect and enter data into internal systems for analysis
  • Identify opportunities for increased use of CarbonCure's technology in daily production
  • Communicate testing requirements for CarbonCure implementation effectively
