Purpose Driven Position

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Digital to oversee our digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with our broader company mission and near-term objectives. The Director of Digital will set the direction for the digital team, build and manage team roadmaps, establish objectives and priorities, and report progress to the Leadership team. This role is critical in fostering our high-performance culture and driving our technology and carbon credit revenue goals.


What You’ll Be Accountable For

  • Leadership, management and accountability of the Digital team.
  • Digital product roadmaps and project approvals, including alignment to business needs.
  • Digital integration management and solutions planning.
  • Continuous improvement of deployed software solutions and access to critical business data for both internal and external audiences.
  • Digital profit and losses (P&L), budget approval and management, and defining the organizational structure and management level resourcing.
  • Credit validation process.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee and manage CarbonCure's Digital vision including budget, P&L, and strategic direction.
  • Define and enforce processes for project approvals, resourcing, and scope management.
  • Know the end-to-end process of credit validation. Continually look for ways to optimize and simplify the process while ensuring all cross-functional teams understand what they are accountable for.
  • Identify and advocate for emerging trends in technology that could drive innovation and further collaboration with other teams and identify compliance needs.
  • Oversee the short-term and manage the long-term Digital roadmap, including key objectives and priorities for the team. Ensure team activities are aligned to CarbonCure’s company-wide objectives.
  • Prioritize digital initiatives based on strategic importance and potential impact.
  • Take responsibility for government funding initiatives and complete regular reporting and submissions to ensure we maximize contributions from funding.
  • Ensure timely execution of the Digital deliverables and adapt plans as necessary to meet evolving business needs while remaining within budget.
  • Align team activities with company goals, focusing on fostering a high-performance culture, exceeding technology and carbon credit revenue targets, increasing fleet productivity, and building long-term enterprise value.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the Digital team to achieve high levels of performance and innovation. Work to integrate this team with the broader company while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity, continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Provide regular feedback and support professional development opportunities for direct reports, continuously and as part of the bi-annual review process.
  • Regularly report team progress, achievements, and challenges to the Leadership team. Act as the primary liaison between the Digital team and Leadership, ensuring alignment on goals, KPIs and budget.
  • Communicate the digital strategy and objectives across the organization to ensure alignment, transparency and support.
  • Drive continuous improvement, work alongside the Customer Experience team to influence the company to adopt process improvements, digital products, and automation to help scale and achieve our corporate mission.


What You Need to Succeed

  • A passion for sustainability and addressing the climate crisis.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent career experience.
  • 5–7 years of experience in a Product Management or Digital Lead role.
  • Previous management experience, leading software developers or engineers.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, roadmap management, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to align team activities with broader company objectives and drive measurable results.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skilled in deriving insights from data, thinking from first principles, and building scalable solutions.
  • Ability to work with large datasets to unlock value for users.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with peers, leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to approach ambiguous problems with a structured mindset and a bias for action.
  • Ability to craft a compelling vision and translate it into actionable strategy.
  • Skilled at demonstrating the value of software products to drive internal buy-in and user engagement.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in the concrete industry, construction sector and/or voluntary carbon markets is an asset.
