Join the power movement as a Commissioning Technician
CFS is seeking a Mechanical, Electrical, and/or I&C Commissioning Field Technician, working under the guidance of a Commissioning Specialist or Field Lead.
This is a contract position.
What you'll do:
- Perform inspections of new systems' components, complete the relevant ITR
- Execute Functional Test Procedures under the supervision of a Field Lead and guidance from a Commissioning Specialist
- Perform pre-functional testing commissioning activities that cover a broad range of activities
What we’re looking for:
- Five years of mechanical, electrical, and/or instrumentation experience
- Two year degree in a related field
- A desire to learn and the ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing requirements
Must-have requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Perform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
- Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
- Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
