We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for stack assembly and fabrication with data analytics skills. You will enable data-based decisions by guiding process and yield improvements in areas including: substack and full stack assembly and plate fabrication.

You will work onsite based at our location in Devens, MA. You will report into our VP of Manufacturing Engineering.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage all substack assembly and continue to develop this process for high-volume manufacturing
  • Be responsible for all SPC and inspection strategies to ensure quality production
  • Ensure process robustness by leveraging known tools like PFMEA, Taguchi DOE and six sigma
  • Work closely with stack design engineering to ensure DFM design for manufacturing
  • Own and improve the substack module pressure testing
  • Lead efforts to track performance using statistical analysis tools to identify process and product variability
  • On Occasion, willing to work nights and weekend to resolve issues in the test area


  • Master's degree or Ph.D in a STEM field such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years in industrial testing electrical or electrochemical devices or semiconductor devices
  • Familiarity with electrical control systems, instrumentation, and power supplies
  • Experience with Python or an equivalent programing language
  • Experienced in using lean problem solving tools (TOC, Kaizen, Six Sigma, PPI)

$132,000$145,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
