Description
As part of our fast growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer, specializing in high current-power systems, to lead the electrical engineering field in the company.
In this role, you will be:
· The head of the electrical engineering
· Responsible for planning and overseeing electrical designs, specifically focusing on the electrical flow between the grid and the electrolyzer systems (AC and DC loads) for the MW systems.
· Setting up, Integrating, and troubleshooting AC/DC rectifiers and DC power supplies.
· Collaborate with the project team, subcontractors, and vendors of power items
Key Responsibilities
· Electrical Drawings: Electrical single-line diagrams, for electrical cabinets and the interfacing between the grid and the electrolyzer (AC and DC).
· Power Conversion Systems: Define and select power conversion components such as rectifiers, cables, transformers, VFDs, and other related equipment to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
· System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other subsystems.
· Vendor Management: Work with suppliers and vendors to select electrical components, ensuring they meet design requirements and project timelines.
Requirements
· Education: B.Sc or higher in Electrical Engineering, specializing in high current-power systems
· Electrical Engineer license or ability to obtain it
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering and power conversion equipment
o Experience in electrical cabinets equipped with MCBs, contactors, relays, cables/busbars
o Experience operating power conversion items, including rectifiers, transformers, power supplies, and VFDs.
· Ability to draw and read electrical schemes
· Ability to define and select power measurement equipment
· Strong communication skills in Hebrew and English with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
· Previous experience managing engineering teams or projects, particularly in the field of power systems, is highly desirable
Preferred qualifications
· M.Sc in Electrical Engineering with specialization in power systems
· Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) for analyzing electrical systems
