KoBold Metals Zambia is the Zambian affiliate of KoBold Metals, a U.S.-based company exploring around the world for battery metals using proprietary AI to guide exploration decisions. Our business is discovering, defining, expanding, and developing mineral resources, and our objective is to achieve a step-change improvement in exploration success resulting in more tier 1 resources discovered faster, with fewer failures, and with far less exploration capital.

About The Role:
This role will support the HR Manager in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding diverse candidates across multiple disciplines and projects, whilst fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace environment. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
- Ensure adherence to recruitment policy.
- Support line managers with the development of job descriptions.
- Drafting and posting of vacancy announcements.
- Screening of candidates
- Coordination of interviews and assessments.
- Onboarding of new hires.
- Maintain a talent pool for specialized skills.
- Support the development and execution of succession planning strategies.
- Coordination of employee training and development programs.
- Regular updates of the organogram.
- Support the development and implementation of HR related company policies.
- Provide support to line managers on full performance management cycle.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have…
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other Social Science Field; master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years Human Capital experience.
- Strong experience and understanding of recruitment processes, employee development strategies, and performance management systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of local labour laws and HR Regulations, policies and procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Member of ZIHRM
