About the Role:

As Mill’s in-region Junior Factory Test Technician you will be responsible for supporting the production line test stations and equipment in use at our Contract Manufacturing (CM) partner’s facility in Guadalajara, MX. The Mill Operations and Engineering factory test teams in San Bruno and Guadalajara will look to you to maintain the seamless operability of these Mill designed manufacturing test stations. This is a hands-on technician role and includes working directly with both test hardware and software functions to ensure smooth integration and continuous performance. Expectations are that this role spends the majority of the time on the manufacturing production line.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain functionality of Mill’s test stations and equipment on the CM production line in support of requirements provided by our factory test team.
  • First point of contact in the factory for test equipment and station issues and debugging.
  • Monitor the status of all test fixtures used in IQC and FATP.
  • Establish and document test equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Document and manage a spare parts stockpile to assist in production line test fixture upkeep and maintenance.
  • Communicate test fixture performance and maintenance status with the Mill San Bruno team.
  • Work with our CM partner to review test station issues and improvement requests.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree (BSEE, BSIE or BSME) preferred
  • 3+ years experience in test-related/technical field in manufacturing environment
  • Availability to work second shift hours, as well as Saturday shifts, as required
  • Knowledge of test, reliability and auditing techniques
  • Strong communication, scheduling and teamwork skills
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment
