About PSI
Physical Superintelligence (PSI) is an AI-native physics laboratory staffed by virtual physicists. We build higher-fidelity world models, engineer physical systems beyond human design, and work toward discovering new physical laws of our universe.
PSI launched in September 2026 with a $58 million seed round led by Breakthrough Energy Ventures. Our team of more than 25 physicists, AI researchers and engineers comes from Harvard, MIT, Princeton, the Institute for Advanced Study, the Perimeter Institute, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, Meta and Citadel. PSI is a Delaware public benefit corporation. Our mission is to discover and commercialize transformative physics breakthroughs at scale with artificial superintelligence, safely, verifiably, and for broad public benefit.
What we offer customers
Emmy, our physics engine, gives infrastructure owners a verified physics model of their entire system, from chip to grid. It searches the design space for the options that best meet their goals. Four capabilities set it apart:
Physics-native reasoning. It is trained on simulators and runs and checks its own simulations.
Fast stand-in models. They screen designs orders of magnitude faster than the solvers they replace.
Inverse design. It starts from the target outcome and constraints and works backward to a design.
Coupled multiphysics. It models power, heat, fluids, chemistry and structures together in one engine.
For AI data centers, this means more usable computing capacity, lower construction, energy and water costs, and better-informed decisions about time to power. Every result is labeled as measured, estimated or simulated, and packaged so that owners, their engineers and their lenders can examine it.
We engage through three types of campaign:
Design campaigns for facilities and systems not yet built. These deliver ranked design options with quantified trade-offs before construction begins.
Operating campaigns for facilities already running. These deliver a live, calibrated model that ranks improvements by cost and payoff, with results measured against an audited baseline.
Design-check campaigns for one-shot systems, such as space hardware. These deliver independent verification within the customer's schedule.
Engagements progress from a scoping study, to a fixed-fee pilot with written success criteria, to a scaled engagement in which PSI shares in the value it can prove. Data centers are our first market. The same engine applies to energy, space systems and other physics-limited domains, including government applications.
The role
PSI is seeking a senior commercial executive to lead go-to-market for Emmy. You will define how PSI positions a new category of capability. You will design commercial structures that align PSI's economics with the value it creates. You will also lead the company's most significant strategic engagements from the first executive meeting to signed agreement. You will report to the CEO and partner closely with the COO, who leads the internal process that scopes and delivers each engagement.
PSI's commercial demand to date has come entirely from inbound interest and from relationships across our investor, advisor and partner network. In our first eight months we have signed more than $20 million in outcome-based contract value. This role focuses on converting senior-level relationships into strategic, long-term engagements. It does not include building a demand generation function.
Key responsibilities
Position a novel solution. Translate Emmy's capabilities into clear offers for executive buyers across data center developers, operators, hyperscalers, and energy and infrastructure companies. Define the offer for each customer segment and project stage. Own the executive narrative, proposals and demonstration strategy. Work with research and applied AI leadership so that what PSI sells reflects the technical roadmap and what the team can deliver. Bring customer insight back into product and research priorities.
Structure strategic pricing. Own PSI's pricing strategy and commercial frameworks. PSI's model is outcome-based: customers fund scoping and pilots, and at scale PSI shares in the value it verifies against an agreed baseline, with payments tied to defined milestones. Refine and standardize this model across segments. Design the structures that extend beyond it, including design fees, performance-based agreements, IP licensing, government contracts, and strategic partnerships or joint ventures. Build the economic models behind each proposal so that every agreement works for both PSI and the customer.
Lead and close strategic engagements. Own PSI's most significant opportunities from first executive conversation to signature. Build consensus across every stakeholder in a complex decision: executive sponsors, budget owners and engineering leads, and where relevant, tenants, lenders and partners. Lead negotiations and manage long, multi-party decision cycles. Partner with PSI's founders, board and advisors on the most strategic relationships. Expand successful engagements into multi-phase and multi-site programs.
Mature go-to-market processes. Build the commercial operating system for a company moving from founder-led selling to a repeatable motion. This includes opportunity qualification and stage criteria, pipeline management and forecasting, proposal and contract standards, and deal review. It also includes a structured handoff into the COO's engagement process. Establish commercial metrics and reporting for the CEO and board. Build and lead a small, senior commercial team as the business scales.
First-year priorities
Finalize and standardize PSI's pricing and contract frameworks across data center customer segments.
Convert PSI's current executive relationships into signed, multi-phase engagements.
Develop PSI's first strategic partnerships beyond data center design and operations.
Implement pipeline, forecasting and deal-review processes that give leadership and the board a reliable view of the business.

What we're looking for
A strategic dealmaker. Ten or more years in enterprise sales, business development or corporate development. You have personally led and closed multiple eight-figure B2B agreements.
A category builder. You have brought a novel, technically complex offering to market where the value proposition had to be established with the buyer, not taken from a price list.
A deal architect. You have structured outcome-based, risk-sharing, licensing or partnership agreements, and built the financial models behind them.
A process builder. You have scaled a commercial function from founder-led selling to a repeatable, well-governed process without slowing momentum.
Executive presence. You are a trusted counterpart to C-suite executives, boards and investors, and can represent PSI's commercial strategy to growth-stage investors.
Technical fluency. You are comfortable in engineering and capital-planning conversations about power, cooling, capacity and capital budgets. You do not need to be a physicist.
AI-native. You use frontier models and agents in your own work and expect your function to run on them.
A strong collaborator. You work effectively alongside founders, technical leaders and advisors who play an active role in key relationships.
Preferred qualifications
Established relationships with data center developers, operators, hyperscalers, or energy and utility companies.
Experience with infrastructure or project finance, including lender and independent-engineer due diligence.
Experience with federal contracting
A background in a technical, forward-deployed commercial model.
How we work
We are engineering-led and AI-native. Engineers own problems end to end, and we favor simple designs that ship over clever ones that do not. We expect the commercial side of the company to operate with the same speed and rigor, and with the same standard of evidence: we do not quote a performance number we have not measured.
Location and compensation
This role is based in Boston and is on-site at our Cambridge headquarters, with regular travel to customers. Title is commensurate with experience, up to Chief Business Officer. We offer competitive compensation, including salary, benefits and meaningful early-stage equity, with components tied to commercial milestones. Because of our export control obligations, some responsibilities may carry restrictions related to citizenship or immigration status, which we will discuss transparently during the process. PSI is an equal opportunity employer and values diverse perspectives in building platforms for AI-driven discovery.
