The Position
We’re looking for a passionate builder with experience in firmware development, integration testing, and optimization, to build Prolific Machines’ novel and cutting-edge bioreactor control systems. Our in-house devices are controlled through Particle microcontrollers and thrive in their cloud environment; it is therefore important that you are familiar with and excited about Particle's tools.

Location: The San Francisco Bay Area (Emeryville)

You
- Enjoy getting hands-on with prototypes in all stages of development
- Have strong (technical) communication skills
- Excited about working with interdisciplinary teams
- Eager to work in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment
- Experience with Particle microcontrollers, cloud infrastructure, and integrations
- Extensive experience in firmware development, integration testing, and optimization
- Excellent C++ and Python programmer
- Proficient in system design and collaboration, and using OOAD and UML frameworks
- BSc or MSc in an engineering discipline
- Affinity with biology, bioengineering, or biomedical engineering
