As the Chief of Staff for the CEO at Prolific Machines, you will tackle critical challenges that are pivotal to the success of Prolific. You'll be instrumental in shaping strategy for the next phase of growth for a high-performing organization that is shaping the future of biology

Responsibilities

Your responsibility is simple: creatively solve any problem that gets thrown your way with relentless execution.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and rest of the leadership team, providing insights and support on strategic business decisions.
You will take ownership of different stakeholder communication efforts, including board meetings, staff meetings, and other key company events
You will be instrumental in scoping and executing on special projects

About you

7-10 years experience including as a Chief of Staff is a must. Previous experience in management consulting, strategy, product management, operations are also desired. If you have operated in a high growth environment and in biotechnology that is a plus
You are entrepreneurial, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources. Bonus points if you’ve fundraised or taken bio/deeptech products to market.
You are a proactive self-starter, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment and to anticipate future needs
You are an exceptional facilitator with the proven ability to hold difficult conversations with empathy. You are able to build deep levels of trust with executives, external partners, and staff at all levels.
You have exceptional project management and prioritization skills, and enjoy juggling multiple projects at once
You communicate with ease, both verbally and in writing.
BS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related fields is plus.
