ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our marketing operations, website management, social media, email campaigns, and event logistics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data, and has a passion for marketing execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Operations
- Actively follow up with Sales and cross-functional teams to ensure leads are processing through pipeline
- Track lead status, flag stalled opportunities, and support timely handoffs between Marketing and Sales.
- Collect, cleanse, and update marketing lead data in Salesforce.
- Complete missing customer profile information.
- Run monthly and product line/region-based lead generation reports.
- Assist in preparing monthly performance reports.
Website Management
- Assist with website content migration, proofreading, and cross-checking.
- Update web content and metadata in CMS.
- Support SEO optimization (keyword tagging, alt text, meta descriptions).
- Collaborate with designers on UI/UX improvements and testing.
- Monitor website for errors or broken links.
Social Media Management
- Collaborate with designers on post concepts.
- Proofread captions and ensure brand tone consistency.
- Monitor engagement and escalate responses as needed.
- Maintain the social media content calendar.
Email Marketing
- Layout emails in HubSpot.
- Proofread content for clarity and accuracy.
- Coordinate internal communications across teams.
Campaign & Event Support
- Assist with webinar/event logistics (registrations, reminders, follow-ups).
- Coordinate swag and marketing material orders.
- Support campaign asset preparation (presentations, PDFs, banners).
Marketing Administration
- Raise purchase requests, complete event forms, and maintain SharePoint.
- Manage marketing materials (brochures, giveaways).
- Coordinate with external vendors for small-scale orders.
- Handle ad-hoc admin requests from the marketing team.
EXPERIENCE
- Recent graduate with a passion for Clean Tech Energy Transition, marketing and comfortable dealing with marketing data
- Desired experience in both HubSpot and Salesforce
- Organised, deadline-driven, and a strong communicator.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be a data-driven marketer, comfortable reading and analysing data, using it to inform marketing plans and prioritise investments.
- Strong accountability and a track record of taking ownership of marketing initiatives.
- Highly performance-oriented individual with high degree of self initiative, confidence and energy.
· A professional and positive attitude, even while working in a fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor’s degree 2:1 minimum in marketing, communications creative discipline or engineering.
