Senior Systems Administrator
We are seeking an experienced & skilled individual to manage Redwood’s IT Systems in a mixed-OS environment. This includes virtualization, storage, monitoring & management systems. This role will support existing systems as well as design & deploy new systems as Redwood rapidly expands.
Responsibilities will include:
- Bare bone and Virtualized Server infrastructure, Hypervisor management
- Storage systems
- Resiliency of services, data backup, forecasting growth needs
- Supporting Corporate, Recycling, and Manufacturing operations
- Participation in an on-call rotation for break/fix on critical services
- Cross-functional flexibility to support, such as network or desktop services
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years in a System Administrator type role
- Designing and supporting resilient, mission-critical systems
- Extensive experience with VMWare Enterprise, NetApp, Windows, Linux, MacOS, AD, Azure, AWS
- Excellent attitude, team collaboration, communication, and self-motivation
- A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
The position is full-time and located in Carson City, Nevada. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
