Anode R&D Technician
As an Anode R&D Technician at Redwood Materials, you will have the opportunity to make the world a better place by deploying new products and processes from the lab to high volume manufacturing.
Responsibilities will include:
- Performs routine and novel chemical and/or metallurgical analytical tasks.
- Build and maintain lab equipment.
- Prepare solutions and conduct wet-chemistry bench experiments.
- Prepare samples for analysis using established tests and techniques.
- Perform chemical analyses, optical measurements, and mechanical tests.
- Run and monitor experiments in high volume manufacturing.
- Support the development of new metrology systems and prove their capabilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of math, chemistry and/or computer skills appropriate to the assignment.
- Mechanical design and fabrication experience.
- Hands on experience building complex mechanical systems.
- Laboratory experience in wet-chemistry and bench top experiments.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Organization and documentation skills.
- Strong ability to follow detailed technical instructions and operating procedures.
- Experience troubleshooting experiments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work in laboratory and factory environment for extended periods.
- Able to lift to 30lbs.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
