Material Planner
Join Redwood Materials on our mission to redefine sustainable manufacturing. We are actively seeking a Material Planner to spearhead the management of inbound raw material supply, crucial to powering Redwood's innovative production processes. Reporting directly to the Sr Manager of Material and Production Planning, this role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future.
Responsibilities:
- Generate MRP and communicate raw material requirements to suppliers and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Act as the primary contact with suppliers, ensuring seamless communication on incoming delivery status, promptly addressing risks/issues, and driving resolutions.
- Track production plans, comparing actual volume vs. raw material usage to fine-tune supply plans accurately.
- Provide dynamic "clear to build" updates to fortify Redwood's production initiatives.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks, collaborating with procurement, supplier quality, and leadership for swift resolutions.
- Conduct analytics/KPIs, encompassing forward-looking inventory forecasts, days on hand, space planning, and managing E&O risks.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain a precise Bill of Materials (BOM), actively monitoring expected vs. actual usages.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, with specialization in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations management preferred.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM/APICS) is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in planning within the supply chain or with suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with quantitative tools such as Excel, Tableau, PowerBI.
- A deep-rooted passion for sustainability and contributing to positive global change.
- Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP and MRP systems.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
