Controls Technician (Days)
The Controls Technician’s primary responsibility is to implement and maintain the controls hardware, instrumentation, and electrical equipment at Redwood Materials.
Responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Fabricate and perform upgrades and repairs to electrical control panels.
- Field wire instrumentation and motor controls, including running conduit and pulling wire.
- Perform and document maintenance calibrations, installations, fault diagnosis, repair of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
- Performs troubleshooting on all instrument systems and process control using P&ID and electrical schematics.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience working in an automated manufacturing environment; fabricating and wiring control panels and troubleshooting control systems and instrumentation.
- Ability to interpret and follow electrical schematics and competency around voltages up to 480V.
- Journeyman License a plus.
- Troubleshooting, and a knowledge of electromechanical systems is a big plus!

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
