Information Technology (IT) Intern - Summer 2024

We are seeking a self-directed and motivated Information Technology (IT) Intern with a passion for learning, creative problem solving, and collaboration in a fast growing, dynamic environment. This role will contribute to everyday support as well as supporting new operations & initiatives to streamline our services.

Responsibilities may include:

• Desktop support – laptop management, domain accounts, software support, printers, etc.
• Make direct impact and assist in managing back-end infrastructure of various systems.
• Support users at multiple facilities and at remote locations.
• Develop & implement ideas to improve IT and infrastructure solutions and initiatives, response times and efficiency.
• Manufacturing support – SCADA touchscreens, process cameras, label printers, barcode scanners.
• Perform setup and maintenance of IT Infrastructure.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for technology platform and provide recommendations for current and future system.
• Opportunity to expand experience into areas of interest.

Desired Qualifications

• Majoring in CS, IS, or related fields.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, MacOS, Linux, and Office 365 suite.
• Ability to work well in teams and alone.
• Excellent verbal & written communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service, attitude, and self-motivation.
• A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!

The position is full-time for the summer of 2024 in the Reno, Nevada area.
