Process Drafter
Redwood Materials is looking for a Process Drafter to support the Process & Mechanical Engineering teams with the development and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate under the guidance of a Design Manager or Engineer to generate schematics and various drawings.
- Employ CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D and Solidworks for the creation of:
- PFD’s.
- P&ID’s.
- Engineering Details .
- 2D Layout Studies.
- 3D Modeled Equipment and Piping.
- 3D Mechanical modeling.
- Stay informed about the most recent Redwood drafting and hardware specifications.
- Contribute to the assurance of drawings' compliance with Redwood standards.
- Assist in the maintenance of current standard detail templates for Redwood.
- Operate within a systematic framework to uphold exceptional engineering document control and submit documents for review in an efficient and organized manner.
Desired Qualifications:
- 0-1 years of drafting experience with supervision from engineering professionals.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD tools.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office proficiency.
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
