Staff Product Manager, Business Applications

Essential Duties:

Redwood Materials are seeking a strategic and goal-driven Staff Product Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of business applications including Oracle ERP and custom application development initiatives. This position will work closely with cross-functional business stakeholders and technical development teams to design, implement, and optimize business applications to enhance operational efficiency, streamline business processes, and ensure scalability. As a senior leader in the product management team, you will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors. This role requires strong technical knowledge of ERP systems with a deep understanding of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ERP solutions to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and IT to define product roadmaps and system requirements.
  • Manage the E2E lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of Oracle ERP across all relevant departments (Finance, HR, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.), aligning system features with business needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for ERP-related inquiries, managing stakeholder expectations and communication.
  • Provide leadership in developing system solutions, ensuring the ERP platform scales with company vision and growth.
  • Facilitate training and documentation to ensure smooth user adoption and system sustainability.
  • Identify areas of process/system improvement, work on the prioritization of enhancements, and manage change control processes.
  • Analyze product data to drive strategic decisions and create efficient workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in product management, specifically with ERP implementations and optimizations.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering successful ERP solutions, preferably in large, complex organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP modules (Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Exceptional project management skills with experience overseeing large-scale ERP projects.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to Redwood Materials or other key locations as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
