Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2019, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.

The Spare Parts Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient supervision and operation of spare parts support for multiple 24/7 production lines. Leading a dynamic team of spares technicians, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the seamless execution of receiving, issuance, and inventory audits of spare parts. This position will be responsible for maintaining an organized, clean inventory area and ensuring that all parts are properly labeled, stored and tracked. This role will also involve developing and implementing strategies for inventory control, cost management, and process optimization while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop up to 10 team members working multiple shifts, fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Manage spare parts operations using ERP, CMMS, and/or inventory management systems to track, analyze, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits, driving process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards, OSHA requirements, and proper storage/handling of materials.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and supporting cross-functional teams in a timely and professional manner.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience supervising and developing a team, including across multiple shifts.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP, CMMS, and/or inventory management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • A passion for sustainability and contributing to continuous improvement!

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (more than 80% of shift)
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions:

  • Varied work environments, indoors or outdoors in all seasons.
  • Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
  • May require the ability to work weekends, nights, or on-call shifts as part of the regular work schedule.
  • Ability to work in difficult working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, for extended periods of time.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
