Description

Reusable systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. Efficient, drama-free technical operations are foundational to these efforts. We are a small and motivated team, and as an IT Test Technician at Stoke Space’s Moses Lake test facility, you’ll play a key role in supporting test operations at Stoke. You’ll collaborate with our IT, Test and Engineering teams in a fast-moving startup environment as we accelerate toward the first launch of Nova. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain computers, cameras, control PCs, peripherals, and other IT systems
  • Assist our vehicle software team with instrumentation and control (I&C) bring-up of software, devices and infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain our surveillance camera infrastructure for test activities
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for equipment at test stands and in the office
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot computer systems that support our test facilities
  • Setup workstations and IT resources for new employees
  • Assist with the execution of IT projects including system upgrades, migrations and maintenance
  • Serve as primary point of contact for site-specific IT-related duties
  • As part of a small team, you will also perform everyday tasks to keep the site running (shipping and receiving, general and administrative tasks, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical support role
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve common software, hardware, and connectivity issues
  • Willing to work outdoors for long periods of time
  • Able to stoop, bend, crawl, and lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Passion for building something with high quality, willing to attend work with a positive and humble attitude, and willing to take ownership of large and small tasks to help the team be successful
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Unbeatable drive and ownership, with a willingness to act proactively to find solutions
  • All other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building up low voltage and data acquisition systems
  • Experience with industrial control systems
  • Experience building and troubleshooting large camera systems
  • Experience with GIT or CI/CD tooling

Compensation

Target Levels:

  • Level 1 Range: $34.85 - $50.48
  • Level 2 Range: $44.71 - $63.70
