Description
As the Creative Design Lead at Stoke Space, you will create exceptional visual content that strengthens our brand identity across all channels and touchpoints. This role is essential for translating complex aerospace concepts into accessible visual stories for diverse audiences including investors, potential recruits, partners, space enthusiasts, the general public, and internal teams. Your designs will help Stoke stand out in the competitive space industry landscape while maintaining consistent brand expression. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the marketing team to produce high-impact visual assets that will amplify and elevate Stoke’s storytelling
- Design visual assets for marketing, events, business development, recruiting, investor relations, and internal communications
- Develop and maintain visual brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials
- Create graphics for digital platforms including website, social media, and email communications
- Design presentation templates, reports, infographics, and other collateral to clearly communicate complex aerospace concepts
- Innovate within brand parameters to evolve our visual identity as the company grows
Qualifications
- Past work in aerospace or other hardware-intensive industries
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility subject matter and range of styles
- Experience developing and maintaining brand identity systems
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and composition
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams and internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Motion graphics and basic video editing skills
- Experience with UI/UX design principles
- Knowledge of aerospace technology and terminology

Compensation
Target Levels:
- Level 5 Range: $99,225 - $165,375
Our job posts are intentionally written to attract a wide variety of experience levels, and we make decisions about the right fit on a per-candidate basis.
Your actual level and base salary will be decided based on your specific experience and skill level.
ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
