Learning and Development (L&D) Manager

ZeroAvia, a leader in zero-emission aviation, is seeking a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to join its team. ZeroAvia's focus is on designing and commercializing hydrogen-powered aviation solutions to address a variety of markets. The company has secured experimental permits and passed significant flight tests for its 6-seat aircraft powered by a hydrogen-electric powertrain. ZeroAvia is on track to make commercial deliveries by 2024, and its accomplishments have been recognized by the UK prime minister, who invited ZeroAvia to be a member of the UK Jet Zero Council. As the L&D Manager, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the company's learning initiatives to enable the development of a new clean aviation ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ZeroAvia’s learning and development strategy, aligned with its business objectives
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and assess current and future learning needs
- Design and deliver a range of in-house development programs and training courses
- Create and manage e-learning content and blended learning solutions
- Lead a team of learning and development professionals
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the learning and development initiatives and generate insights to improve outcomes
- Manage the budget for learning and development activities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful learning strategies aligned with business objectives
- Strong knowledge of learning and development processes and best practices
- Experience in managing stakeholders at all levels of a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the design and delivery of digital learning solutions and e-learning platforms
